Little Negative is a studio started by music and tour photographer brit o'brien. brit has always had a vision to document life not for immediate consumption...but rather to preserve nostalgia for the long term. brit has been touring with bands for ten years. she’s captured life in the back of the van, within gas stations, arenas, planes, and overseas. she has published multiple photography books/zines, was the grand prize winner of the Circadian Pictures Creative Fund 2020, and has been running a music-focused print store for the last five years surpassing $9,000 in charitable donations. outside of photography, brit works as an artist and tour manager — learning the ebb and flow of business within the music industry.
frustrated with the destructive cycle of modern social media she hopes to savor and share the unique experience of life from a slower perspective -- and is excited to announce she is now selectively booking couple/portrait sessions, events, and weddings. with over ten years of experience shooting VIP clients, creating on location, and on-the-fly all over the world, brit is excited to offer her unique style to folks who seek a more candid feel.
